Revelation 14:1–5 (ESV)
The Lamb and the 144,000
14 Then I looked, and behold, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads. 2 And I heard a voice from heaven like the roar of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder. The voice I heard was like the sound of harpists playing on their harps, 3 and they were singing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and before the elders. No one could learn that song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. 4 It is these who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins. It is these who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These have been redeemed from mankind as firstfruits for God and the Lamb, 5 and in their mouth no lie was found, for they are blameless.

Before we begin, we need to remember that the 144,000 is not actually 144,000, but is symbolic for all believers.  Also remember that in yesterday’s reading, the Second Beast looks like a lamb, but is not the Lamb of God.  The Second Beast has allegiance to Satan.  In today’s reading, the Lamb and all the believers are standing.  The Second Beast had marked the unbelievers with the mark of the beast 666.  The believers are marked with the Father’s name on their foreheads.  John hears a voice or a sound from heaven that is like the sound of harps and singing.  I picture the Christians in heaven singing a “new song” and it will be absolutely beautiful.  I remember going to a Promise Keepers even in Dallas, TX and we had approximately 50,000 men attending this Christian men’s event.  It was absolutely beautiful to hear 50,000 men all singing together “A Mighty Fortress” and also “Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise”.  It literally made the hairs on the back of my neck and on my arms stand up.  It was awesome!  I can’t wait to sing in this choir.  This “new song” is only known and can only be learned by the believers.  The nonbelievers cannot learn this new song.  Verse 4 can be confusing when it says: “It is these who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins.”  The Bible is clear that it is not sinful to have sexual relations with a woman if she is your wife.  These are “virgins” because they remained faithful to God and did not sell out to the Second Beast.  They stayed true to Christ.  I pray: Lord, help me to stay true to you and not give in to Satan and his lies.  I love singing praises to you now Lord and I look forward to singing this “new song”.  Lord, direct me to discern right from wrong, and to walk according to your ways.  In Jesus Christ name I pray, Amen.

Look at the Words say they "fell away". The had it, but lost it. Just like the Bible says your name can be blotted out of the Book of Life.
