2 Corinthians 13:11–14 (ESV)
Final Greetings
11 Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. 12 Greet
one another with a holy kiss. 13 All the saints greet you.
14 The grace of the Lord Jesus
Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
Confident that God’s Word will do its work, Paul utters no more stern demand or harsh rebuke.
He moves through gentle appeal to end on a triumphant note. We should take our bearings from God’s good purpose and the communion of saints. The blessed Trinity is not dry theory but the God of love in whom we have life now and forever.
I pray: Praise to You, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, that You give Your Church Your very life! Amen.
