It is interesting that Peter has a mother-in-law… which shows that the first Pope of the Catholic church was married. Oh well…
What is more important is the compassion that Jesus had for his people. Not only does he heal them, but he fulfills prophecy. But there is a bigger message than healing people and that is his plan of salvation.
I pray: O Lord, help me to not get dazzled by healings, but to be dazzled by Jesus’s plan of salvation. Amen.
