Hebrews 7:1–3 (ESV)
The Priestly Order of Melchizedek
7 For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings
and blessed him, 2 and to him Abraham apportioned a tenth part of everything. He is first, by translation of his name, king of righteousness, and then he is also
king of Salem, that is, king of peace. 3 He is without father or mother or genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but resembling the Son of God he continues a priest forever.
We are back again to the Melchizedek dude. He is the king of Salem (Peace). Jerusalem
is the City of Peace. Abraham tithed (tenth part) of everything to him. Abraham recognized that he was “special” and offered a tithe to him. He did not do this to the angels before Sodom and Gomorrah. He is a Prophet, Priest,
and King… just like Jesus. Now the freaky part… “He is without father or mother or genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but resembling the Son of God he continues a priest forever.” When you put
all these things together, then it is easy to see Melchizedek as the pre-incarnate Jesus. Part of the Trinity in Genesis. Jesus didn’t have the name of Jesus at that time, it came later when he was born. Even though Jesus was born,
he always existed. Jesus is our Prophet, Priest, and King.
I pray:
O Lord Jesus, you are my Lord and Savior. You are my Prophet, Priest, and King. Amen.
