Revelation 7:15–17 (ESV)

A Great Multitude from Every Nation

15    “Therefore they are before the throne of God,

and serve him day and night in his temple;

and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence.

16    They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore;

the sun shall not strike them,

nor any scorching heat.

17    For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd,

and he will guide them to springs of living water,

       and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

We are getting a picture of worship in heaven and also the reality of no hunger, no thirst, no sweating, and we will be guided to springs of living water.  Our world is so full of sin that we have become acclimated to spiritual, physical, and mental pain.  Heaven will be different.  God will wipe away every tear from our eyes.  It will be a strange, but beautiful new world.  One that we will get accustomed real fast.  I look forward to this strange, new world.  It is the Kingdom of Heaven!

I pray: O Lord, pain and suffering is such a part of our life that we can’t picture anything without it.  I look forward to being in your presence and seeing you face to face.  I repent and want to do better.  Forgive me of my sins.  Amen.
