Hebrews 10:1–4 (ESV)
Christ’s Sacrifice Once for All
10 For since the law has but a shadow of the good things to come instead of the true form of these realities, it can never, by the same sacrifices that are continually offered every year, make perfect those who draw near. 2 Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, since the worshipers, having once been cleansed, would no longer have any consciousness of sins? 3 But in these sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. 4 For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.

If you look at the shadow of a tree, it is obvious that the shadow is of a tree.  It is easy to say... “that’s a tree”.  Yet the shadow is not the tree. You can’t climb a shadow.  You can’t cut down a shadow.  You have to cut down the real tree for the shadow to fall.  The old testament’s sacrifices were a shadow of what was to come, that is, Jesus Christ.  This is what is meant in verse 1-4 when it speaks about “the law has but a shadow of the good things to come instead of the true form of these realities, it can never, by the same sacrifices that are continually offered every year, make perfect those who draw near.”

I pray: O Lord, your life, death, and resurrection is the only way to heaven.  Everything I need, you accomplished.  Even the ability to believe is a gift from you.  Thank you for all you have done for me.  Amen.

Look at the Words say they "fell away". The had it, but lost it. Just like the Bible says your name can be blotted out of the Book of Life.
