Romans 16:25–27 (ESV)
Doxology
25 Now to
him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages 26 but has now been disclosed and through the prophetic writings has been made known to
all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith— 27 to the only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ! Amen.
Paul’s ending paragraph
to Romans states that the secret is out! The entire good news of God, from the prophetic OT writings to the proclamation of Jesus Christ being made known to all nations. God’s eternal being, His wisdom, knowledge, and power, are all far beyond
ours. He calls those of faith to respond in obedience to His will. The Gospel of Jesus Christ was entrusted to Paul and faithfully proclaimed among the nations in accordance with God’s will. It seems often that we today try to still maintain the
secrecy by not sharing the Gospel.
I pray: O Lord, help me to not be ashamed of the Gospel, but to proclaim it from the mountain tops. Help me to become bold like Paul, and to not be afraid to
tell others. Amen.
