Ephesians 6:21–24 (ESV)
Final Greetings
21
So that you also may know how I am and what I am doing, Tychicus the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord will tell you everything. 22 I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know how we are, and that he may encourage your hearts.
23 Peace be to the brothers, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Grace be with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with love incorruptible.
Wow, a short reading for today. This is the closing to Ephesians. Paul has been spending time with Tychicus, a brother in Christ and a faithful minister. Tychicus is from Asia Minor and is well respected by Paul,
in fact he entrusts him with delivering this letter to the church in Ephesus. Maybe you can look at Tychicus as a mail man bearing a message. Well, when you think about it, we all are to be message bearers for the Lord. What seems like a
simple task is a task assigned to all of us today. God entrusts us to deliver the Gospel message to all people. We are also called to be encouragers, to encourage one another and to share the faith of the Lord.
I pray: O Lord, help me to be a message bearer. Help me to not keep silent, but to proclaim your message from the roof tops. Help me to not be ashamed of the Gospel, but to live it and to share it. Amen.
