Revelation 21:5–8 (ESV)

A New Heaven and a New Earth (Pt 2)
5 And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” 6 And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. 7 The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son. 8 But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

Not only is there a New Heaven and a New Earth, but He is making all things new.  God says "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.  To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment.”  Perhaps this is the “living water” Jesus told the woman at the well.  I remember when Lori and I took our first vacation together, we went to Colorado.  We were staying at a city that used glacier water for their drinking water.  We still remember how great, cool, and fresh the water tasted and we could not get enough of it.  Just wait til we taste this water from the spring of the water of life.  And it’s free!  Maybe it will be BYOB (bring your own bottle).  Now if people start placing plastic water bottles in caskets, don’t give them my name.  We can’t take them with us.  But back to business, John writes down a warning to us before Jesus comes. God's warning is: “But to the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”  I pray: Lord, keep me away from these sins and help me to keep my eyes focused on you.  I repent of all my sins and ask for your forgiveness.  Restore me into your kingdom, a kingdom without tears.  Thank you for your wonderful gifts.  Amen.

Look at the Words say they "fell away". The had it, but lost it. Just like the Bible says your name can be blotted out of the Book of Life.
