Revelation 20:7–10 (ESV)
The Defeat of Satan
And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea. 9 And they
marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and consumed them, 10 and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and
the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
We know that the beast and the false prophet have been thrown into hell. Well, today... bad day for Satan.
Satan readies for battle, but fire comes down from heaven and consumed them. Satan is thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur and will be tormented day and night. I believe that hell will be like an inferno, but I definitely leave room for it to
be a metaphor. Whatever the case, Hell is a place without God’s presence. People who have mocked God and blasphemed God will know they are wrong when they are judged to live in Hell. There is no turning back. My heart goes out
to them, because they are going to find out how really wrong they are and nothing can be done. This is a day we have been saying will come, but it is not a good day because we know what is going to happen to all who rejected Jesus. It will be great
on the other hand because we finally get to live in God's Kindom without the influence of sin. Can we look into the mirror and say we did everything possible? I think not. I pray: Lord, help me to plant the seeds of faith and
let the Holy Spirit work a change in their heart to bring conversion into their lives. Use us Lord to further your Kingdom and to save souls. Amen.
